Cool Relocation Tool: The Lifestyle Optimizer
A pretty nifty tool from HomeFair.com. With the Lifestyle Optimizer you can find the best cities in the U.S. for you based on climate, taxes, crime rate, etc. The site also offer valuable resources to help make your relocation decision easier.
Use this search tool to create a list of the 10 best cities for you to live, by selecting one characteristic to rank cities and then by restricting the search to cities with certain demographic, economic, or climate conditions. When you have selected your restrictions, use the button to fetch your list.
For example, you might want to know which cities in California have the lowest crime rate among cities with a population under 50,000. You would rank by "crime index lowest to highest" and then under "restrictions" select only the state of California and population under 50,000.
